Things to Consider Before Buying a Home

  • Your Credit:  When applying for a loan, the better your score, the lower your interest rates will be. 2003 Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act: one free credit report upon request every 12 months at AnnualCreditReport.com, (877) 322-8228 or mail.
  • Your Finances:  income, savings for down payment and closing costs, recurring debts - Debt-to-Income ratio
  • Price:  Determine what's realistic and how much home you can afford. I can help you make the most out of your money! Check your House Affordability
  • Qualify for a Loan:  Get pre-approved for a loan before you start looking at homes, to be able to make an offer.

Home Buying Process

  • Making the Offer:  I am certified Pricing Strategy Advisor. When we find that perfect home, I will prepare and present the offer with the loan pre-approval or proof of funds (cash purchase). With my experience, I can help you make an offer that both fits your budget and has the best chance of being accepted. When it comes to negotiation, your REALTOR® is your advocate!
  • Once Your Offer is Accepted:  We'll have the house professionally inspected, appraised, request repairs and more. Once this step is complete, we will verify the terms and conditions of your loan, and assist you in signing your papers.
  • Moving Time!  Now that you've found your perfect home it's time to make moving arrangements. If you need a professional moving company, I can recommend reputable, local movers. Don't forget to change your address and inform the utility companies of your move!
